Rina Foygel Barber has been named the Louis Block Professor in the Department of Statistics and the College, effective January 1, 2021.
This professorship recognizes Rina's contributions to a bewildering range of topics, from graphical models to sparsity and high-dimensional inference, conformal prediction, structural equation models, image reconstruction and compressed sensing.
