Jongyoon Baik, MS candidate in Statistics, and PhD candidate in Political Science at the University of Chicago, has been awarded a 2021-2022 Doctoral Dissertation Research Improvement Grant (DDRIG) by the American Political Science Association for her dissertation research.
Her research interests include state-society relations under authoritarianism, media control, censorship, popular protest, and grassroot movements.
