The Department of Statistics has established the Takintayo Akinbiyi Memorial Award for Academic Excellence in Statistics in honor of the life and achievements of Takintayo ("Tayo") Akinbiyi, MS'08, PhD'20. The award is presented annually to a PhD student in Statistics for outstanding academic achievement in the first year of study. Please join us on Monday, October 2, 2023, at 11:15 am, in Jones 303 for our second annual award presentation.
