Dan Nicolae has been named the Elaine M. and Samuel D. Kersten, Jr. Distinguished Service Professor.

Robert E. Kass, alumnus of the Department of Statistics, PhD'80, and the Maurice Falk Professor of Statistics and Computational Neuroscience at Carnegie Mellon University, has been elected to the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) in recognition of his distinguished and continuing achievements in original research. 

Our Chair, Matthew Stephens, Ralph W. Gerard Professor, Departments of Statistics and Human Genetics, and member of the Committee on Computational and Applied Mathematics has been elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society!
