Diagnostic Exam
Students will be emailed their exam starting September 13. All new students must complete the take-home diagnostic exam and email it to their faculty advisor by Friday, September 17. Your advisor will need time to review your exam before approving your course registration. If you cannot find your advisor, email your exam to Keisha Prowoznik at kprowoznik@statistics.uchicago.edu.

Online Orientation for International Students
New international students must complete the online orientation offered by the Office of International Affairs no later than Monday, September 30. See OIA’s website for details.

Graduate Student Opening Convocation (In-Person Event)
Tuesday, September 21 Noon - 1:30 p.m.
Location: University's Main Quadrangles
More than 2,000 incoming students from across UChicago's 12 graduate schools and divisions will join together to mark the beginning of the new academic year. The event will be hosted outdoors on the University's Main Quadrangles, and feature UChicago President Paul Alivisatos and other speakers to welcome you to our community. Following the Convocation, pick up a UChicagoGRAD T-shirt and light snacks at outdoor locations around the Main Quads. Register now>>
