- Diagnostic Exam
Students will be emailed the exam starting September 16. All new students must complete the take-home diagnostic exam and email it to their faculty advisor by Friday, September 20. Your advisor will need time to review your exam before approving your course registration. If you cannot find your advisor, email your exam to Keisha Prowoznik at kprowoznik@uchicago.edu.

Wednesday, September 18
- Incoming international students are invited to attend an international student orientation hosted by the Office of International Affairs (OIA). This orientation is not required but may be a helpful resource for incoming international students. OIA will cover a variety of topics including a general overview of OIA services, important reminders, information about maintaining status, information about employment for international students, and ways to get involved in the international student community at the University of Chicago.

- Orientation Meeting for Incoming PhD Students
