Description: In this class, we discuss approaches based on machine learning for PDEs. We start with the solution of elliptic and parabolic PDE with machine learning. We first discuss approaches based on numerical discretization and particle methods. We then discuss how these classical approaches can also be realized by machine learning in a high-dimensional setting.
