Workshop on Mathematical Trends in Medical Imaging

July 26, 2023

The workshop on Mathematical Trends in Medical Imaging, organized by the Committee on Computational and Applied Mathematics (CCAM) at the University of Chicago, will bring together researchers working on both theoretical and practical aspects of inverse problems to discuss recent trends and new challenges in the field, mainly focusing on its applications in medical imaging. Topics include, but are not limited to, mathematical modeling, analytic and geometric methods, computational approaches, numerical algorithms.

Organizers:

  • Guillaume Bal, Departments of Statistics and Mathematics; Director, CCAM, The University of Chicago
  • Benjamin Palacios, Department of Mathematics at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile
  • Fatma Terzioglu, Department of Mathematics, North Carolina State University
